The DX5 features five digitally optimised modes: Clay, Game, Range, Wireless Comms and Hunter. 

Clay Mode: Clay mode is optimised for clay shooters where guns are typically fired at a faster rate and within the vicinity of other shooters.

Game Mode: Game mode is optimised for game shooters and following a gun shot, the DX5 react by reducing output levels; keeping the shooter safe from harmful noise.

Range Mode: Range mode is optimised for shooters using large calibre weapons or in indoor shooting environments. Ambient awareness is still provided; however, the reduced output levels may degrade close conversation. 

Wireless Comms Mode: Wireless comms mode is optimised for general shooting, providing ambient awareness with the added feature of wireless audio input via the supplied neck loop, or full two-way communication with the optional SRC harness. 

Hunter Mode: Hunter Mode is optimised for hunters and stalkers. This mode reduces the sound of footsteps on vegetation, helping the shooter focus on the sounds that matter.

The DX5 has an advanced digital multi switch that allows easier mode and volume adjustments, a dedicated push button that operates as the power button, that doubles as a mute function, vocal feedback that advises the wearer of which mode they are using, alerts to minimum or maximum volume levels and when the battery is low or at critical levels. The DX5 also has a volume and mode auto save that remembers your last set volume and mode selection, even when switched off and the battery removed.

They are available in 16 solid colours with endless two and three colour combinations. There are nine Metalik module colours to personalise your DX5’s and are made with a clear canal tip to ensure easy cleaning.

The DX5 comes with Water-Shield hydrophobic protection, a two-year warranty, are tested to EN352-2 and EN352-7, are certified as PPE and are also IPIL tested to ANSIS 12.42-2010.

The CENS Proflex DX Series are supplied with a large carry case, CENS wallet, userguide, feedback card, warranty cards, presentation box, quick start guide, modules, earpieces, 36 batteries, air puffer, PureClean gel, PureClean wipes, CENS patch, Cens cap, small case, carabiner and two power magnets. The neck loop is only supplied with the DX5 model.

With all CENS Proflex DX plugs, impressions are required and are made by Get Plugged. Approximate delivery time is 4-6 weeks from time of ordering.
